Trump posts photos of ‘dilapidated’ areas of Kennedy Center: ‘It’s been this way for years‘

President Trump on Sunday posted a series of photos that show parts of the Kennedy Center that he said must be repaired.

He has argued the repairs are major, which require closing the center temporarily.

Critics have said the center should not be closed.

A piece of the ceiling recently fell off.

Trump, the current chair of the center, maintains that the repairs must take place now.

"The Kennedy Center is crumbling, and a great danger to anyone who walks inside. It’s been this way for years, and will only get worse unless the Radical Left Judge, with his Trump Hating lawyer wife, allows me to do what must be done!" Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Alongside the photos, Trump called the center "dilapidated," adding that its "falling apart."
