Angela Paxton supports GOP ticket despite divorce from Ken Paxton

Texas state Sen. Angela Paxton is backing the Republican ticket in November, signaling support for her estranged husband, Republican U.S. Senate nominee Ken Paxton, despite their ongoing divorce.

In a new television advertisement, Angela Paxton said voters have asked where she stands and argued that the election is ultimately about maintaining Republican control of Texas rather than individual candidates.

“Either we hold every Republican seat, or we hand the future of Texas to the other team,” she said, urging voters to “hold the line.”

She does not mention Ken Paxton by name in the 30-second advertisement. The spot was funded by Texas PAC,
