Isaias strengthens to Category 3 hurricane, to make landfall on Gulf Coast by nightfall, Sat morning

Isaiais strengthened Friday morning into a Category 3 hurricane as it nears making landfall on the Gulf Coast in the evening or early Saturday morning.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a Hurricane Warning from Ocean Springs, Mississippi, to the Bay/Gulf County line, in Florida. 

NOAA has also declared Isaiais a "major" hurricane. Isaiais is the first hurricane of the Atlantic season.
