Warren says large corporations like Apple should share tariff refunds with customers
"What's their plan to give YOU your money back?" Warren wrote on X.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., suggested that large corporations like Apple should be returning tariff refunds to customers in some form.
"Apple reportedly got $2.2 BILLION back in tariff refunds. Amazon got $600 MILLION. What's their plan to give YOU your money back?" Warren wrote on X.
Warren formally wrote to Apple, Amazon, Energizer, Nike, Target, Motorola and Walmart inquiring about the size of the refunds they are receiving for import duties that the businesses had paid before the Supreme Court struck down Trump's tariffs.
