The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced on Tuesday that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had apprehended illegal aliens with criminal histories that included murder, sexual assault, and rape involving minors.

Under the Trump administration, the agencies have worked to implement the president's mass deportation agenda, with an emphasis on the "worst of the worst" criminal illegal aliens. Recent estimates have suggested that the foreign-born population of the U.S. has dropped by as much as 3 million since President Donald Trump returned to the White House.

“Criminal illegal aliens are not welcome in the United States. Yesterday, ICE arrested murderers, pedophiles, sexual predators, and other public safety threats from our communities,” DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin said in a statement. “DHS doesn’t make the laws – it’s our job to enforce the law. The law is clear, the mission continues, and we won’t apologize for removing illegal aliens from our country.”

Topping the list was Juan Flores-Ruvalcaba of Mexico, who was convicted of first-degree murder and second-degree assault.

Jose Manuel Gasca-Hernandez of Mexico was previously convicted of statutory rape/sodomy with a person less than 14 years old.

Nicholas Pastrana-Salinas of Mexico was convicted for continuous sexual abuse of a child.

Wilmer Elpido Padilla-Campos of Honduras was convicted for sexual assault.

Orlando Manuel Ventura of Mexico was convicted of possession of Schedule I or II drugs, identity theft, and driving under the influence.
