Trespasser stopped on Kamala Harris' Malibu property
The former vice president and 2024 Democratic presidential nominee and husband Doug Emhoff were not home at the time.
A trespasser was stopped over the weekend at the Malibu residence of 2024 presidential candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris.
The incident occurred Friday at about 10:30 p.m., according to Politico.
Harris and husband Doug Emhoff were not home at the time, a spokesperson said.
The trespasser was stopped by security before reaching the home. Malibu Lost Hills sheriff deputies arrived soon after and told the individual to leave. The individual left voluntarily without incident, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
