Former Indiana deputy charged with felony for allegedly using Flock camera data to stalk girlfriend

A former Indiana sheriff's deputy was charged with wrongly using his access to Flock data technology to stalk his girlfriend over a period of a year. 

Skylar Thompson, 31, faces one felony count of official misconduct and a misdemeanor count of fraud, the New York Post reported. 

The Jackson County Sheriff's Department alleges that Thompson conducted more than 2,000 searches for her license plate in Flock databases between Dec. 31, 2025 and Aug. 2. The alleged activity was discovered during an internal audit of the system. 

Thompson reportedly listed the search as "city planning/traffic analysis," even though he'd never been assigned tasks involving either duty, according to prosecutors.
