Former NBA star Freedom booted from WNBA game after shouting match with female player

Former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom was ejected Sunday night as a spectator at a women’s professional basketball game after a verbal altercation with Chicago Sky guard Natasha Cloud.

Shouting ensued when Cloud walked toward Freedom late in the third quarter while he was sitting courtside in a black T-shirt that read: "WOMAN noun. adult human female."

Security cut off Freedom when he rose from his chair and began to walk toward Cloud. He was escorted from the arena as he proudly displayed his shirt.

Freedom is one of two former NBA players trying to become eligible for the WNBA draft later this month, saying they identify as women.
