Thousands of customers lose power as Nor’easter slams East Coast

Thousands are without power in New Jersey and New York as the Nor’easter hit the East Coast early Saturday morning.

About 30,000 customers did not have power in the  state as of 7 a.m. on Saturday, early reports said. 

Parts of New Jersey are underwater, such Stone Harbor, according to videos posted to social media.

Approximately 22,000 New Yorkers are currently without power.
