Trump's approval stays at record low in latest Reuters/Ipsos poll

President Donald Trump's approval rating is stuck at a record low in one survey, with just weeks to go before the November midterms.
Overall, just 32% of Americans approved of Trump's job performance in the latest Reuters/Ipsos survey, marking no change from the survey's prior iteration and keeping the figure at a record low. A total of 65% disapproved of his performance, including 49% who strongly disapproved.
He was slightly better off among registered voters, earning 36% approval and only 64% disapproval, but was still very much under water.
The survey does not appear to be an outlier either. The RealClearPolitics polling average currently assigns Trump 38.5% approval and 59.4% approval.
Conducted Sept. 30-Oct. 5, the survey questioned 4,506 U.S. adults.
