Vice President JD Vance will head to Alaska on Monday for a rally to boost Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska, in his reelection bid.

Sullivan is facing a close contest against former Rep. Mary Peltola, D-Alaska, in a race complicated by the presence of another Dan Sullivan and the state's ranked-choice voting system.

Vance will appear at a rally in Fairbanks, Alaska, on Monday, according to The Hill.

Sullivan's race is expected to be one of the most competitive of the cycle, and a Republican loss there could doom the administration's efforts to hold both chambers of Congress for two more years.
