President Donald Trump concluded his three-day summit in China on Friday in which he met with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing. 

Talking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump said that the two leaders talked about Taiwan "a lot." 

“On Taiwan, he does not want to see a fight for independence because that would be a very strong confrontation," Trump said. 

On the issue of Iran, Trump said he and Xi feel "very similar." 

"We did discuss Iran. We feel very similar in Iran. We want that to end. We don't want them to have a nuclear weapon. We want the [Strait of Hormuz] opened," Trump said. 

Trump also said that his meetings with Xi resulted in "some fantastic trade deals."
