US military identifies 2 soldiers killed in Jordan while defending against Iranian missiles, drones

The U.S. military on Monday identified the two soldiers who were killed in Jordan last week while they were defending against Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks.

The Defense Department said in a statement that 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan, 25, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, and Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, 19, of Carrollton, Texas, were killed, but provided no further details on how they died, ABC News reported.

The soldiers' deaths bring the total number of U.S. service members killed during the war in Iran to 17, according to the U.S. military.
