Ceasefire may be extended with a restart to negotiations possible, official says
The U.S. blockade on ships leaving Iranian ports has threatened the ceasefire agreement, and while a formal agreement hasn't been finalized, the U.S. is continuing to engage with Iran on an extension.

U.S. Central Command said on Tuesday that 10,000 U.S. sailors, marines and airmen, as well as dozens of warships and aircraft, are executing the blockade, and in its first 24 hours, no ships had managed to squeeze through it.
