The Los Angeles Police Department said that 74 people were arrested for failing to disperse after a "No Kings" protest over the weekend.

The LAPD said Sunday that 74 people, including eight juveniles, were arrested for failing to follow a dispersal order that was given after the end of Saturday’s protest against President Trump and the Iran war, The Associated Press reported. Another person was taken into custody on suspicion of possessing a weapon that the LAPD described as a dagger.

Hundreds of protesters surrounded a federal complex in downtown Los Angeles, with some throwing rocks, bottles, and broken concrete blocks at officers, the Department of Homeland Security said on Saturday. Two officers struck by concrete blocks sustained undetermined injuries and received medical attention, according to DHS.

Federal officers were seen firing tear gas canisters into a crowd of protesters near the Metropolitan Detention Center.

There were more than 3,100 "No Kings" events registered in all 50 states over the weekend.
