LAPD says Nick Reiner has been booked for murder of parents, Rob and Michele Reiner

The Los Angeles Police Department announced Monday that Nick Reiner, the son of the late-famed Hollywood director Rob Reiner, has been booked on suspicion of the murder of his father and mother, Michele Reiner.
No charges have been brought against Nick Reimer so far because charges are filed by the Los Angeles County district attorney's office. LAPD said it will present the case to prosecutors on Tuesday for "filing considerations."
Rob and Michele Reiner were allegedly stabbed to death in their Brentwood-area residence on Sunday afternoon, and 32-year-old Nick Reiner was taken into police custody later that night.
Sources, who have been described as family friends of the Reimer's, told the Los Angeles Times that the couple's daughter Romy was first on the scene. Deputy LAPD Chief Alan Hamilton confirmed that the initial 911 call came from inside the house, and law enforcement officials told the outlet that there was no sign of forced entry into the home.
Family friends also told the outlet that they allegedly saw Nick Reiner get into an argument with his father at a party at TV host Conan O’Brien’s home on Saturday night, and that others saw Nick Reiner act strangely.
LAPD also said Monday that Nick Reiner is being held without bail, after earlier reports that he was being held on a $4 million bail.
