A gunman opened fire Saturday evening at a country club in Nashua, N.H., wounding multiple victims, police said.
Authorities originally said they might be looking for two gunmen, but police afterwards said they had detained a lone shooter.
"Video surveillance has confirmed there was only one shooter and they are currently being detained," the Nashua Police Department said in a statement. "The scene is still an active investigation, but there is no further danger to the public."
The incident occurred at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, a community about 45 miles northwest of Boston.
Authorities did not immediately provide an update on the condition of the shooting victims.
