The Minneapolis gunman, Robin Westman, 23, who said he “was tired of being trans,” had recently broken up with someone, had previously had a “medical mental health visit” to his home when he was a teenager, and he blamed the massacre he perpetrated on his mother, who has retained an attorney and is refusing to talk to the police.

During the massacre, Westman killed two children and injured 18 other people, including 15 children, at the Minneapolis Catholic school. Westman then died from a self-inflicted gunshot.

Regarding the romantic partner he had broken up with, which he wrote about in his manifesto, according to the New York Post, the person’s name was “Aby,” written in the Cyrillic code and deciphered by The Post, and the relationship seemed to be on the rocks.

“Aby is such a baby. I should have never started dating them,” Westman wrote, adding that Aby wanted to have sex with him, but that he hated sex.

Westman’s father told investigators that Robin, who was originally named Robert, had “broke up with a significant and/or romantic partner” and had been staying with a friend in the surrounding area, Fox9 reported.

The “medical mental health” call was made to his home, according to police records.

Regarding blaming his mother, she had warned him that he would regret transitioning, but he then discouraged other parents from letting their kids do the same. He claimed to be anxious about a visit from his mother, in an entry dated July 1 of this year, according to the New York Post

“Your words, mother, made me stay in my discomfort unable to ask for help to avoid admitting defeat. You were right mama, but the way you handled it led me to wanting to kill so so many people,” he wrote, according to the outlet.

“Gender and weed f****d up my head,” he claimed. “I wish I never tried experimenting with either. Don’t let your kids smoke weed or change gender until they are like seventeen.”

“When I was first out to my mother, she was VERY antagonistic. She really made me hate myself and think I will never be good enough,” Westman wrote.

“I remember one day, she said something like, ‘In the future you will look back and feel ridiculous about who you feel like you are inside. You will regret this.’

“Well guess what mom?! I regret being born,” Westman added.
