Actor Richard Chamberlain dies at 90

Richard Chamberlain, an actor who starred in "The Thorn Birds" and "Shōgun," died on Saturday at 90.

He would have celebrated his 91st birthday on Monday.

Chamberlain was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Korea before he started to act.

He went on to win a Golden Globe Award for the role of "Dr. Kildare."
