Astronomer HR executive resigns after viral kiss cam moment at Coldplay concert
“Kristin Cabot is no longer with Astronomer, she has resigned,” an Astronomer spokesman said
Astronomer human resources executive Kristin Cabot has resigned after a viral kiss cam moment at a Coldplay concert with then-Astronomer CEO Andy Byron.
“Kristin Cabot is no longer with Astronomer, she has resigned,” company spokesman Taylor Jones told The Associated Press, according to a report on Friday.
Last week, Cabot and Byron were caught cuddling and smiling on a kiss cam when Coldplay singer Chris Martin asked the cameras to scan the crowd for his “Jumbotron Song” during a concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.
Once Cabot and Byron saw that they were on the big screen, she spun away from the camera while he ducked out of the frame.
Byron resigned on Saturday. He and Cabot had been put on leave by the company while the board was investigating the situation.
Cabot's and Byron's profiles have now been removed from Astronomer’s website.
“Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” Martin joked in a video clip that went viral.
Byron is married to another woman and has children. Cabot is also married, according to several reports.
