'The Bird Reich': Atlanta Falcons roasted over account logo resembling Nazi symbols

The Atlanta Falcons NFL team updated their social media profile picture this week, prompting a barrage of jests highlighting its apparent similarities to known Nazi symbols.

As of press time, "The Bird Reich" was a trending topic on X, with many users making the pun to reference the logo and the Nazi regime.

The image features a red, white, black, and beige background, with a black falcon, stylized in an angular manner that appears similar to a Nazi Eagle. The flag of the Third Reich featured a red background with a white circle and a black swastika in the center.

Comments on the image were mostly jokes about the image. One user posted an edited image of Adolf Hilter watching the Atlanta Falcons while wearing a Falcons hat.

"Falcons leading the league in blitzkrieg," one user quipped.

"Falcons were up 28-3 at Dunkirk," another posted.

"I give this a nein/10," quipped another.
