Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen wins NFL MVP award
The Bills played in the AFC Championship Game and lost to the Kansas City Chiefs this year.
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen on Thursday night was received the National Football League's Most Valuable Player award.
Allen was selected as the league's MVP over other such top finalists as Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley
“I know this is an individual award and it says Most Valuable Player on it but I think it’s derived from team success and I love my team,” Allen said after being named, according to CNN.
The Bills played in the AFC Championship Game and lost to the Kansas City Chiefs this year.
Allen this season passed for over 3,700 yards, ran for 531 and threw 40 touchdowns.
“We got such a great locker room in Buffalo and it takes everybody from the equipment staff to training room to the strength staff … it truly takes everybody to have team success and I’m so fortunate to be apart of a great organization," he said.
