The 21-year-old from Spain won a commanding 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 victory.
The win denied Sinner, last year’s champion, a chance to defend his win and further cemented Alcaraz as the future of men’s tennis.
With this win, Alcaraz has added a fourth Grand Slam trophy to his collection.
