Erika Kirk, widow of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, will meet with Candace Owens on Monday after she asked the podcaster to stop promoting conspiracy theories about her late husband's assassination.

"@RealCandaceO and I have agreed that public discussions, livestreams, and tweets are on hold until after this meeting," Kirk posted on X on Sunday.

Owens responded on X, saying, "I am very much looking forward to this discussion."

In a town hall-style TV event with CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss last week, Kirk said she would want to tell Owens regarding the conspiracy theories that she has been promoting, "Stop. That's it. That's all I have to say. Stop," the media outlet reported.

Owens, who was a friend of Charlie Kirk's and a former TPUSA employee, has discussed various theories regarding his death in her podcast episodes since his Sept. 10 assassination. She has also alleged issues regarding TPUSA's finances.

Kirk became TPUSA's CEO after her husband's death.

The Treasury Department has confirmed that none of the tax-exempt organizations that Kirk oversees are under investigation by the IRS.
