WNBA free agent Sophie Cunningham said that she has had to hire security around the clock.

Cunningham, who played the last two years for the Indiana Fever, has problems with stalkers, she says.

An Indianapolis man is being held at the Marion County Jail on charges of stalking her, the IndyStar reported. During a recent appearance on the podcast “This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von,” Cunningham suggested that the FBI was watching 20 people who were stalking her.

The WBNA free agent said on her "No Hesitation" podcast that she's hired 24/7 security who will be traveling with her.

"So that's a little different. It kind of stops you from your regular routine," Cunningham said.

While Cunningham has plenty of admirers, including men who take their adoration too far, she's also garnered a lot of controversy from the transgender community for speaking out against biological males playing in women's sports.
