Sports book author and columnist John Feinstein passed away at age 69.
He died of natural causes on Thursday at his home in McLean, Virginia, according to ESPN.
Feinstein was most well known for being a sports columnist at The Washington Post and has covered basketball, golf and the Olympics.
He authored 48 books. Twenty-three of them became New York Times bestsellers including his 1995 book "A Good Walk Spoiled," about life on the PGA tour.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, son, brother and sister.
