UConn women’s basketball team defeats South Carolina 82-59 to win 12th title

Paige Bueckers and the UConn Huskies women’s basketball team defeated South Carolina on Sunday 82-59 to win its 12th title.

The win marks their first national title in almost 10 years.

Bueckers, Azzi Fudd and Sarah Strong outscored the entire South Carolina team 65-59, according to statistics reported by USA Today.
