WNBA player DiJonai Carrington posts ‘white privilege’ after ejection over fouling Sophie Cunningham

WNBA player DiJonai Carrington, who plays for the Chicago Sky, was ejected from Saturday's game after a flagrant foul on Indiana Fever player Sophie Cunningham.

The replay showed Carrington hitting Cunningham in the face with her arm.

Cunningham confronted Carrington after getting up from the ground.

The foul was upgraded to a Flagrant 2, and Carrington was ejected.  

"White privilege," Carrington wrote on social media after the incident. 

Cunningham recently made headlines for saying she opposes transgender women competing against female athletes.

Carrington recently responded to an Instagram post containing former USWNT soccer player Megan Rapinoe's critical comments about Cunningham's stance on the issue.

"Clock it, Megan," Carrington wrote.
