Jeff Clark recruits lawyers for new law firm to 'combat government weaponization'

Jeff Clark, former Justice Department attorney, announced on Wednesday he's opening a new law firm under the banner of The Oversight Project, a government watchdog group.
The law firm, Clark said in a post on X, will "combat government weaponization of all types, but especially abuses of congressional and state legislative branch oversight, perversion of bar discipline processes, and securing the dismissal of bogus criminal indictments."
He said that The Oversight Project would be expanding its size "significantly," and he is recruiting lawyers to work for the new firm.
"We already have a small team of dedicated lawyers with Article I, Article II, and/or Article III branch experience at the federal level and state government experience as well. You would join them and me in this important effort to turn our country around," Clark said.
Clark is vice president of litigation for The Oversight Project.
