Kering is close to selling beauty unit to L'Oreal, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal.

The sale could be as high as $4 billion.

Kering's new CEO Luca De Meo, who became in the role in September, vowed to combat the high-debt issue that has reportedly made investors uneasy.
