The Patriots had a chance to make history by claiming a seventh Super Bowl title in Super Bowl LX on Sunday evening against the Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California but the team came up short.
Seattle won a second Lombardi Trophy by defeating the Patriots 29-13.
The teams last met in the Super Bowl in 2015, when New England sealed a 28–24 win after Malcolm Butler intercepted Russell Wilson at the 1-yard line in the final minute.
Grammy award-winning band Green Day played some of their hit songs on the field before the game started.
Grammy award-winning artist Brandi Carlile performed "America the Beautiful" prior to the start of the game.
