Devin Nunes says that TRUTH Social is now available in the Google Play store
According to Nunes, the eventual goal of TRUTH Social is to be just as big and even better than social media companies such as Facebook and Twitter.
Devin Nunes, the CEO of Trump Media and Technology Group, says that the TRUTH Social app is not only in the Samsung store, but also now in the Google Play store.
"It took us a while to get here," Nunes said on the John Solomon Reports podcast. "But we're glad to be here. So we're hopeful now that everyone who has an Android can either go to the Google Play Store or the Samsung Galaxy Store and download the app."
According to Nunes, the eventual goal of TRUTH Social is to be just as big and even better than social media companies such as Facebook and Twitter.
"To get to the next level, where we're trying to be a platform that takes the best of Instagram and Facebook and Twitter and TikTok and put it into one app — we're testing and building out new features."
Some of the new features that TRUTH Social is adding include direct messaging and easier ways to detect bugs on the app.
"Our next feature to come out is direct messaging," Nunes explained. "So that you can be not only in a social network and get your news, but people that you follow, and people that follow you — you'll be able to communicate with them. And it's all part of us building out this separate ecosystem of giving the American people their voice."
Nunes says that TRUTH Social's platform would not be possible if they didn't have such a dedicated team.
"We have very dedicated people who believe in free speech and who work 24/7 around the clock," Nunes said. "I mean, this is how we're able to do this. We're constantly building and testing one brick at a time very. It's very methodical, and just making sure that we can't be taken down by a tech oligarch."
