Musk brings porcelain sink to Twitter as deal nears close: 'Let that sink in!'
Staffers were reportedly sent an email stating that they would hear directly Friday from their incoming owner.
Billionaire Elon Musk on Wednesday carried what appears to be a porcelain sink into Twitter's San Francisco headquarters as he has until Friday to purchase the social media platform or risk going to trial.
"Entering Twitter HQ – let that sink in!" Musk tweeted with a video of him carrying the sink into the building.
"Meeting a lot of cool people at Twitter today!" he added.
Musk's visit was confirmed by a person at the company to CNBC.
Staffers were reportedly sent an email in preparation for Musk's visit saying that they would hear directly from him on Friday.
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO has until 5 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday to finish the deal to purchase Twitter or he will face legal consequences. Twitter sued when Musk attempted to back out of his deal to purchase the social media company, citing bot accounts on the site.
