Biden aide blasts WH over Trump's low-profile in recent weeks

A former aide to President Joe Biden is attacking the White House for what she perceives as a lack of transparency on President Donald Trump's recently lower public profile.
Trump has spent the past several days out of the spotlight, eschewing public events and largely limiting his activity to Truth Social posts. Speculation has arisen as to his health.
“I think in August he spent 26 days doing public events or talking to press. So, to go down for six days and just have a slew of Truth Social posts that are very chaotic, and people can’t follow all of them is very concerning,” former Biden aide Meghan Hays told CNN.
"The president could just be taking a few days down in August, which is normal for presidents to do. Or there could be actually something wrong,” she added. “The problem is we don’t know and they’re not being transparent about it.”
The criticism is somewhat ironic in light of revelations about President Joe Biden's declining health during his administration and widespread condemnation of his general failure to engage with the media.
