President Donald Trump celebrated two achievements Wednesday, including the market reaching an "all-time high," and Washington, D.C.'s crime rate being low.

The president made two posts on social media about the achievements, which come after the stock market surged amid reports that the conflict in Iran could be ending soon.

The Nasdaq Composite and the S&P 500 both soared to record highs Wednesday and the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 600 points. Oil prices have dropped, marking an achievement for the administration after gas prices rose Monday to a national average of nearly $4.50 a gallon.

"Stock Market hit an ALL-TIME HIGH TODAY. Jobs & 401-K’s are BOOMING!" Trump posted on Truth Social.

Trump also touted a low crime rate in the district, which comes after the Washington Metropolitan Police Department disciplined 13 of its officers for allegedly skewing crime data. The officers have not been terminated so far but have been given termination papers that they can appeal.

"Washington D.C. CRIME is at its lowest point in 30 years, plus," Trump said on Truth Social.
