President Donald Trump on Tuesday said that 19 million barrels transited the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, claiming it was an all-time record.

"Oil prices are tumbling down, and the World is a much safer place!" Trump said in a post on Truth Social

In a separate post, Trump criticized the media for minimizing the importance of Iran's commitment to allowing nuclear inspectors into the country again.

"Iran has fully and completely agreed to highest level Nuclear inspections long into the future (Infinity!!!). This will insure 'Nuclear Honesty.' If they did not agree to this, there would be no further negotiations! Based on this and other major concessions being made by Iran, I have agreed to allow the Hormuz Strait to remain OPEN, with no further Naval Blockade," Trump said.
