AOC suggests Trump blocked MTG from GA Senate race
Greene has, for months, criticized the Republican Party for failing to address healthcare costs and focusing too much on foreign conflicts at the expense of domestic issues.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., this week suggested that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's, R-Ga., recent streak of breaking with the GOP on key issues is the result of President Donald Trump blocking her Senate ambitions.
“Marjorie Taylor Greene wanted to run for Senate in Georgia. She wanted to run for Senate earlier this year in the state of Georgia, she wanted to be the Republican nominee for Senate. So, she was gearing up for that statewide race, and Trump told her no,” AOC said during an Instagram livestream.
“Trump said no, and the White House and Trump Land shut down Marjorie Taylor Greene’s personal ambitions to run for Senate, and she has been on a revenge tour ever since," she added.

The electoral wipe out of Republicans in Tuesday's Virginia and New Jersey elections saw pollsters draw similar conclusions.
