Darline Graham Nordone confirms she will seek full term

Sen. Darline Graham Nordone, R-S.C., confirmed on Monday that she had decided to seek a full term in the Senate, after Gov. Henry McMaster, R-N.C., appointed her to replace her late brother.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., died unexpectedly earlier this month. McMaster tapped Nordone to finish his term with the support of President Donald Trump, who later encouraged her to run for the party nomination.

"I've made a decision. I'm running," she told Fox News's Sean Hannity in a segment on "Hannity" airing later Monday.

Nordone joins a crowded primary field, which already includes Reps. Ralph Norman and Russell Fry, R-S.C., as well as former Graham challenger Mark Lynch.
