Dem senator questions Gabbard presence at FBI's Georgia raid
President Donald Trump narrowly lost Georgia in 2020 to President Joe Biden, though he has long maintained that the results were mired in fraud.
Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., on Thursday questioned the presence of Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard at the site of an FBI raid on a Fulton County election hub in Georgia this week.
"Why did Tulsi Gabbard take part in a raid on an elections office? We need to step up to protect our elections from this administration’s meddling," he asked.
The FBI raided the facility in connection with a criminal probe of the 2020 election. Gabbard was confirmed to arrive on site after reports of the raid broke, though her involvement in the matter remains unclear.
