Rep. Anna Paulina Luna holds lead over Democrat in Florida's redrawn 13th District
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna is running for a third term against Democrat Leela Gray, a retired Army brigadier general.
Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna held 49.5% of the vote in Florida's 13th District U.S. House race Wednesday morning.
Luna is running for a third term against Democrat Leela Gray, who held 48.7% of the vote, and the Associated Press had not yet projected a winner.
National Progressives of America candidate Tony D'Arrigo held 1.8% of the vote in the district.
Gray is a retired Army brigadier general who served as a strategic adviser to the United States Army Cyber Command.
The Gulf Coast district was redrawn this year, which gave even more weight to Republicans than the district already had.
