Vance discusses possible 2028 presidential run during town hall: 'there's a chance'
Vance was asked about a possible 2028 run for the president, and he said, while there's a chance, he still hasn't made a firm decision.
Vice President JD Vance discussed questions about his possible candidacy in the 2028 presidential elections during a town hall meeting released Saturday night.
While talking with Tony Dokoupil of CBS News in Michigan, Vance was asked about the possibility of a presidential run in 2028.
"Of course there's a chance," Vance replied.
Vance said that he tends to procrastinate when it comes to "big life decisions," and he hates thinking about it. However, he said, he will have to make a decision at some point.
"But, you know, anything can happen, man, anything," Vance added.
Vance is widely viewed as an early frontrunner in the Republican primaries on a list of potential 2028 GOP candidates that includes Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
