DP World CEO Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem is out of a job after Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., indicated on the House floor that he had likely been implicated in the Epstein files, the Financial Times reported Friday.

Bin Sulayem was one of six men whom Khanna, this week, identified in the Epstein files as likely involved in illegal activity. The government of Dubai, on Friday, announced that Essa Kazim would become the DP World chairman while Yuvraj Narayan would take over as CEO. The statement did not mention bin Sulayem.

His apparent ouster marks the most high-profile figure to lose his station over Epstein since Andrew Mountbatten, formerly Prince Andrew, was stripped of his titles.

Public fallout over the bevy of powerful people linked to the late sex trafficker has rocked the political world. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, for instance, has found himself in the crosshairs since admitting that he traveled to Epstein's private island after he had been convicted of sex offenses.

Attorney General Pam Bondi, meanwhile, has faced widespread scrutiny for her handling of the issue.
