Former chief housing economist on the Council of Economic Advisers Morris Davis will join the board of directors for BOXABL, the company announced in a statement.

"His direct collaboration with President Trump's cabinet on affordability initiatives will be invaluable as we scale production and redefine how American builds."
Housing affordability has increasingly ranked among the top issues for Americans, especially younger voters, and Trump has struggled to quell dissatisfaction with the economy since returning to the White House.
