Federal agents on Thursday made arrests in California outside of Gov. Gavin Newsom's, D-Calif., press conference.

“We're here making Los Angeles a safer place, since we don't have politicians who will do that, we do that ourselves,” Border Patrol Chief Greg Bovino told Fox LA. "We're gonna continue to do that and that can take that one to the bank in cash."
The arrests come as Newsom continues to protest the federal law enforcement presence in Los Angeles. The city saw the National Guard deployed this year to quell anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) riots in the city.
