NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders says has bladder cancer but plans to coach college football in fall
Sanders played in the NFL with such teams as the Atlanta Falcons and the Dallas Cowboys.
University of Colorado head football coach Deon Sanders aid Monday that he has bladder cancer.
The National Football League Hall of Fame star made he announcement at a press conference in which he said doctors thought they had eradicated the cancer after having removed a tumor.
Sanders said he was cured following the surgery.
“My sons have not left my side since,” Sanders said during a press conference, according to The New York Post. “This wasn’t easy."
