Florida Democrat Jared Moskowitz advances to November midterms
The 25th District includes a strip of coastline north of Miami and is one of the few remaining Democratic-leaning seats in the state after redistricting.
Rep. Jared Moskowitz, D-Fla., was projected to win the Democratic nomination for Florida's redrawn 25th Congressional District on Tuesday evening.
The Associated Press called the race for Moskowitz at 7:52 p.m. Eastern, at which time he led with 64.2% of the vote, with 85% of the votes counted.
The race pitted Moskowitz against progressive challenger Oliver Adams Larkin.
