The Department of Homeland Security's official account on Wednesday bashed Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., for his post of an AI voice over of a post from White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller with the voice of Star Wars's General Grievous.

The original post came from Newsom's press office and featured Miller's post in front of footage of the cyborg villain behind it.

"The insurrectionist mobs will be defeated. Our love for America is stronger than their hatred. Sovereignty will be restored. The illegals will be returned. Our way of life will prevail," the video stated.

But DHS responded with a meme of their own, using a well-known format to reference "The Simpsons" saying "don't make me tap the sign." The meme shows a finger pointing to another well-known X post from "memetic_sisyphus" saying "Liberals don't know things. They don't read history, they don't obsess over stats, the few data points they do see they forget. Their entire world is driven by the consumption of fiction."
