GOP Sen Husted tries to end run Senate's 60-vote threshold to pass House-approved data center bill

Ohio GOP Sen. Jon Husted is pushing to ram through a House-approved bill that would shield consumers from heightened energy costs from data centers.
The House passed the Ratepayers Protection Act earlier this week in a 417-3 vote.
Husted plans to ask the Senate for unanimous consent to push through the bill and send it to President Donald Trump's desk, Politico reported.
