The Napolitan Institute this week launched its We the People initiative in partnership with Jigsaw to revolutionize polling through the use of AI.

The initiative combined traditional polling with AI-generated follow up questions and included a sample group of more than 2,400 Americans, with five from each congressional district.

"We the People has allowed us to look into the values of the American people at a level never experienced before," Napolitan Institute founder Scott Rasmussen said. "Americans don't talk like Thomas Jefferson anymore, but the same core ideals expressed in the Declaration are still seen in the voices of 21st century Americans."

Jigsaw highlighted the technical side of the initiative, pointing out that the AI was able to compile the opinions each respondent expressed into a discernible "opinion landscape" to interpret the results.

The interactive AI-based approach also generated support from the sample group, with 94% of people expressing the view that they felt represented in the conversation.
