Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-Ga., appears headed for a competitive, but relatively lax reelection campaign as polling shows most of his likely Republican challengers struggling against him.

A recent Cygnal survey pitted Ossoff against Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Rep. Mike Collins, and former Sen. Kelly Loeffler.

Of those, Raffensperger performed the best with a statistical tie against Ossoff. Mike Collins trailed by 2.5%, within the 3.4% margin of error. Loeffler and Greene trailed Ossoff outside the margin of error.

Collins has gained attention, in part, due to his growing prominence on social media. Known for his spicy takes and unusual media savvy for someone of his age, Collins has embraced right-wing meme culture as a means of communicating with younger voters while taking positions decidedly to the right of the political center.

The survey did not pit Ossoff against Gov. Brian Kemp, R-Ga., who has reportedly opted against a Senate run.

Conducted May 15-17, the survey questioned 800 Georgia voters.
